Adam and the girls had a short week due to President's Day on Monday. Adam woke up and did our taxes, the girls slept in, they all went and got groceries for the week and cleaned up the house. We had a wonderful grilled pork chop dinner together and then the girls had the Beissel's over to hang out for a bit.
3 nights a week the girls get home after 9 from dance and this is my view as I try not to fall asleep in Lilli's bed. I sometimes get super annoyed because I'm tired, but mostly this sisterly love is the best view and their laughter and stories are music to my ears.

My friend Jolene and I had a little mid-week girls night and went to our friend Pam's Sip & Shop for her boutique Elizabeth Grace. We tried on some fun clothes and came home with a few things, too.

The Farmington Girls Hockey team made it to state again this year and Alexa played hookie from school to go watch. Adam drove her and her friends Ella, Bri and Lauren to the Xcel to watch and Bri's mom drove them home. They unfortunately lost 6-0. Alexa and crew stopped at Cane's for lunch on the way home.
Lilli realized on Friday after school that she had worn her pants on backwards all day. Good thing they were leggings and no one probably noticed.

Alexa and I babysat our favorite kiddos Friday night. Turner was super into selfies with Alexa and I was able to keep Diem sitting long enough to braid her hair.

While we were babysitting, Adam and Lilli had a fun little dinner date together at HyVee.
Our friends Jeff & the Budde's were over when we got home from babysitting, which was a fun treat.
I woke up with a terrible sore throat Saturday morning. I tried to fight it so hard all day. I took Lilli and Katelyn to their lacrosse camp at the HS. I got to sneak and and watch the last few minutes of their scrimmage and Lilli impressed me so much. She was the beginner in the group but held her own and showed me how aggressive she is. I'm so proud of her.

Ava, Rachel, Lilli, Katelyn
While Lilli was at lacrosse, I practiced 90 degree back up's with Alexa in the parking lot. She did very well for the 1st time. She got 2 good one's out of 10 tries.

The companie parents had a fun little get together at the Ohlhue's Saturday night. I was just not up for it, unfortunately, but Adam went. He had such a great time. Alexa went to her friend Amanda's for a couple hours and then to the Beissel's for a sleepover. Lilli and Katelyn slept over, as well. They had a blast painting together.

Adam and Alexa have been randomly wrestling each other lately. Adam can't believe how strong Alexa is. And Alexa likes to prove she can pin her dad.

Another perfect 90 degree back up while we dropped off some library books on Sunday. It should be noted that Alexa drove to the library without directions, all by herself.

I still wasn't feeling the best, but wanted to get out of the house and enjoy the 40 degree weather. Alexa drove us to McDonald's and Caribou and we did a little shopping at Turn Style.

We finished off our weekend in the best way we know how, snuggled together watching Boy Meets World. Thank goodness there are about a million seasons of that show because I just love that family time together.
