2020 - Chapter 3

This week I started my new Barre Blend Workout with Beach Body. It's the perfect amount of challenge for me. I really love it so far. I've been doing practice workouts for a few weeks, and now I feel ready to begin the 60 day challenge.

Javiera celebrated her 6th birthday. We got her some yummy treats and a cute sweater and of course spoiled her with all our love and snuggles all day. She is in desperate need of a haircut, which we will be scheduling soon.

Lilli had her 1st middle school choir concert at the high school. She sang 5 songs. The Bare Necessities was my favorite. She did such a great job.

Alexa convinced me last minute to fill in for her confirmation teacher for their small group Wednesday night. I didn't want to, but the fact she was asking me meant a lot, so I did. The girls found some glue and glued their hands together and up and left to go wash their hands. I had to document how much control I had over the class..

I did get quite a few compliments, tho, and the girls said they got more out of my 15 min lesson than they have so far this year. I consider that a huge win.

The storm of the decade was predicted for Friday/Saturday, and while we did get some snow, it sure wasn't what they were anticipating. Maybe 4-5 inches only. It did, however, delay us from going to Albert Lea for Christmas a day since the roads were pretty ice and the wind made things pretty blustery.

We made it to Albert Lea on Sunday to celebrate Christmas with the Lares'. Andrea and Cesar were here from New York, so it was fun to have the entire family together. It's been a few years. Cesar was pretty excited about the 49er's victory and entry into the super bowl.
