We kicked off this week with Homie turning 10 months old. He's still quite the peanut at 6.4 lbs. Not much growth since last month. We are curious how much bigger he'll get.

Lilli's history class took a field trip to Boeckman middle school to listen to a speaker on the fur trade. She was excited to get out of an afternoon of classes, but said it ended up being kind of boring and was hot in the auditorium.

Alexa and Mackenzie had duet practice this Wednesday. Their dance is finished, so it's fun to see the progress they've made cleaning it up. Not before some silly warm up dancing, tho.

Lilli's choir class also took a little morning field trip to the high school to practice for their choir concert in the auditorium. To my surprise she ran into her sister and friends and I received this amazing selfie at work, which made my day.

Lilli had faith formation and Alexa had confirmation this week. Alexa discussed the retreat she went to last weekend.

I am gearing up to start a new workout program through Beach Body On Demand. I have been doing the practice/sample workouts all week and can't wait for Monday for the Barre Blend program to officially start. #iamcommitted

Alexa is loving the new set up in her room and sits at her desk often drawing. It makes me so happy to see her in this grown up space.

My cousin Jennah made the evening news out of Webster NY this week, by delivering her baby girl on the side of the highway. What an unbelievable entrance into the world. So happy everyone is ok and healthy. Vionne Marie is a special little lady.

We had a fun Punta Cana reminiscing party at our house Friday night. We discussed the school supply drive we're doing for the kids in the Dominican and made some delicious Bahama Mama's. We also had a slideshow of our pictures on the TV and went around and had everyone share their favorite memories of the trip. There were so many good ones. It was fun to talk about and relive.

Bright and early Saturday morning, Alexa was picked up for her first behind the wheel driving lesson. She did amazing. It was a 2 hour lesson and she practiced parking, 90 degree back up and drove to Lakeville. She said her instructor complimented her eye coordination and asked if she was a dancer. She said they have the best awareness of the road.

The girls had a leadership class at Synergy late Saturday morning. I picked Lilli up early to go to a lacrosse camp at the middle school. It was for ages 7-14 so she was a little advanced, it seemed, but she still had a lot of fun.

Benny, Amanda and Sophia came Saturday to visit for the night. Poor Sophia ended up getting sick several times, so the girls didn't get much play time with her. We watched the Vikings lose and grilled some yummy dinner.

Adam and Alexa went with them to the MOA for a bit Sunday to ride a few rides, while I took Lilli to an extra jazz practice at the studio. We snuck off to Chipotle for lunch quick first.

Alexa also had an extra lyrical class after Lilli. It's getting closer to competition time so extra clean up practices are inevitable in the coming weeks.

Lilli has been working hard on a history project at school, but required some at home work on it this weekend, too. We helped her build her fur trade diorama.
