Happy Happy New Year!! What a fun way to start the new year in an entirely new decade. Exciting and hard to believe at the same time.

As impressive as it is that I have kept up my monthly updates, our family is just too busy that writing them and adding all the pictures just takes way too long. So, in an attempt to challenge myself and to keep the blog a little more clean, I'll be doing weekly posts, in 52 chapters for the year. We'll see how it goes. Maybe I'll add some other fun random content, too. Again, maybe!

So, without further ado.. 2020 Chapter 1.

Our new year kicked off in the best way possible, with an amazing Lares Family Fun Day. We slept in, did some shopping, made a pit stop at the new Caribou for some oreo cookie coolers and then a trip to the MOA for some more shopping for our friends from London. We had some good laughs. The girls found the set from Friends and had to pose for some pics.

We decided that since we were fairly close that we should go check on our seats at Allianz Field. It was such a nice day that we got out and walked around the stadium a little bit. We were able to see inside and got a perfect view of our seats and the field. The excitement it mounting for home opener on March 15th.

We ended the night with dinner at Mi Pueblo, our favorite Mexican place in Apple Valley, and Boy Meets World on Disney +.

The girls were not happy about going back to school on Thursday after having a long winter break. They each said the first day back was long and boring. Going back to dance was the same. Just easing into having a routine again.

We had dinner at Lakeville Brewery Friday night before our guests arrived for the weekend. My brother Tiny and family came to visit, which made our entire week. Finn and Hallie are such a joy to have here.

Tiny, Courtney and Finn went to the Wild game Saturday afternoon. Finn was super excited and the Wild pulled off a win for him. While they were gone, Adam played a beanbag tournament at Diamond Joe's. He didn't have much luck, but had fun anyways.

The girls and I took Hallie on a little shopping spree to Burlington and added some more items to her wardrobe. She's a stylish little baby!

Alexa had a confirmation retreat in St. Paul from 4:30-10:15. She had a great time with her small confirmation group.

We had dinner at Celt's in Farmington and then came home and the guys played video games.

Lilli feeding Hallie her lunch.

Shoulder rides from Alexa.

Shopping with her Cousins.

Lilli got Finn into playing Lacrosse.

Finn riding Adam's Scooter.

Sunday the Vikings played the Saints and WON! Tiny and Courtney stayed for the game, which made it super exciting for Adam to celebrate with Tiny when they won. Did I mention they WON? Thank God they won! ;)

It was hard to say goodbye to our family, but cherish the time they were here.

Adam and I took the pups for a long walk and then prepped the girls for a full week of school.
