We started receiving emails from the schools again in August to sign up for assessment days and open houses. Another sure sign summer was coming to an end.

Lilli had her assessment and met with Mrs. Wood the day after we got back from the cabin. Adam took her and said Mrs. Wood was super friendly and described her as someone we'd like to hang out with. Most importantly, Lilli loved her, too.

Alexa had open house at her school the following week and brought all her supplies to her locker and we walked through her schedule and saw all her classrooms and met all her teachers. Everyone was so nice. I especially liked her academic support/strength teacher. We spoke a lot with him and he had a really good plan for the year.

I am excited for both the girls to start school, get back to a routine and have the best school year yet.
