Our Cabin Vacation

Adam was up in Moorhead already at my brothers for his fantasy football draft/guys weekend. So, it was the girls and I with the dogs. We left at around 5:30 - stopped at Little Cesar's to grab a pizza to eat on the way and we pulled into the cabin around 9:15. Just in time to play cards and have some popcorn with Grandma and Grandpa.

Saturday was gorgeous. We were up and in the lake right after breakfast. Alexa and Grandpa made a run to Battle to get some donuts and coffee at Larry's. Lilli and Chipper could not wait to swim.

We surprised the girls with some fun inflatables for our vacation.

Chip had the time of his life..swimming as much as he wanted to.

Our littlest princess would get pretty wore out and curled up in the chair around 9:30 every night and fell asleep.

But, not before a few games of Solitaire.

I picked Adam up in Fergus on Sunday and my parents left that evening.

A cabin trip wouldn't be a cabin trip without a stop at Granny's Pantry for some candy.

The girls were absolutely obsessed with fishing. If they couldn't be in the boat, they were casting off the dock.

And Chipper swam until he couldn't swim anymore...

We fished in the boat 50% of the day. The girls couldn't get enough. I told them that if they catch them and want to eat them, then they have to help clean and fry them. Alexa was all in!

We had the best, most relaxing time at the cabin. It was so nice to get away from work and life for a little bit and just be together as a family. The cabin is our happy place and we can't wait to go back.
