Sharp/McCabe Couples Event

We had our 3rd couples event with our besties. But, before that...the kiddos started planning fun events for them, too. The Budde's and Sharp's planned a fun pool/slip n slide day at the Budde's. They had water balloons and tie dyed t-shirts. They made lunch and hung out all afternoon. While we were at our event they had dinner and had a sleepover at the Sharps.

For the adults - we were given a 'save the date' invitation about a month prior. It was a wooden boat with a sale made from the cracker jacks box design. We all either thought were would be going out on a boat, or the boat was to psych us out. Then later on we got the actual invite with some more details. We were going to meet at the Sharps at 4pm for a quick happy hour then "shove off" at 4:30. There would be a couple of 'inland excursions' where a drink would be provided. And dinner would be served at around 7:30ish. All the lingo was setting us up for a day on the water, but we knew better.

We met at the Sharps at 4pm for a quick happy hour then they took us to our first inland excursion..Dan's Bar in New Trier. Our next stop was Kings Bar in Meisville and then we drove across the street to the baseball field where we watched the Meisville Mudhen's baseball game. We tailgated and grilled brats and Stacey and Tammy made a few salads. They brought their bean bag boards and we had a bean bag tournament. It was such a fun night. Literally anything we do with these guys is so much fun. Yay for great friends.
