Cinco de Mayo 2018

Adam and I decided to throw a Cinco de mayo party this year. It fell on a Saturday, so why not? We spent all Friday night decorating and setting up the garage. Craig, Michelle and Chuck came over to help get things set up. Everything looked amazing! And once again, e feel so blessed to have the space to hold a party like this. Our garage was the perfect space.

We had a food table, several seating tables to eat and a few tables for crafts for the kids. They made sombreros out of terra cotta pots and little maracas out of plastic eggs, spoons and washi tape.

Adam went all out with the food. He grilled fajitas, made beans and rice, we had pico and guac and everyone else pitched in with drinks, sides and dessert.

Our friend Jeff handmade a pig pinata for the kids and filled it with candy and lots of little trinkets.

It was a beautiful day. The weather was gorgeous. We had a short downpour and all piled into the kitchen for a brief time, but again..so grateful for the space for everyone to come inside to get out of the rain.

The kids had a blast on the trampoline and in the back yard. They played 4-square and kick ball and of course had a blast making the crafts.

It was Chuck's birthday on Monday the 7th so we had a little surprise party for him Sunday night with the leftovers from the party. He was so surprised which was awesome. It was so fun to continue the party with our awesome friends.
