Precision Arts Challenge 2018

First of all, picture overload - - sorry, not sorry!

The girls' first dance competition was Precision Arts Challenge in Chanhassen. We took the girls out to dinner the night before with the Beissel's to Celt's in Rosemount. Alexa and Mackenzie's duet coach works there and they wanted to see her before their competition. Their competition fell on St. Patty's Day and Kris had to work so she was going to miss being there for their performance. She surprised them by playing their duet song over the jukebox.

The girls also love to give their teammates good luck treats at competitions, so a lucky charm rainbow treat was in order for St. Patty's Day. They turned out so cute and yummy.

This competition was a short one. Only 1 day! We were up like a regular school day, around 6am and out of the house by 7:30. Hair and makeup went as easy and smooth as can be. The girls were amazing getting ready. We had all their things laid out the night before and lunches made and packed so it was just getting them ready and loading the car.

They participated in master classes from 9am until noon and then the competition started at 1.

This was the perfect competition to have my parents come to since it was just one day. The girls were so excited they made the trip down to cheer them on.

Our studio as a whole did so well at this competition. We held our Best In Show Title from last year, too. The girls deserved to do well, they have worked so hard. We are so so proud of them. It's such a good feeling to see all their smiling faces up on that stage. I'm glad my parents were there to see it.
